What are custom cookies?

Minty Apron specializes in custom decorated cookies designed to be the centerpiece of your celebration. Custom decorated sugar cookies are hand-crafted treats designed to perfectly coordinate with your event theme. Using your colors, invitations, décor images, or general theme, we create cookies that are just as beautiful as they are delicious—perfect for birthdays, weddings, showers, corporate events and more.

Custom orders are a premium service with limited availability (typically 2–3 orders per week, depending on order size and other scheduled events on the calendar).

What flavor are your cookies?

All cookies are vanilla sugar cookies with a hint of almond—soft, buttery, and perfectly sweet. Every cookie also includes our signature sprinkle mix blended into the dough — a little Minty Apron touch (you can also opt out if sprinkles aren’t the vibe).

Allergen Information

While we hope to offer dairy free, egg free and/or natural dye cookies in the future, we do not currently at this time. Our standard recipe contains: wheat, milk/dairy, eggs, soy (in the sprinkles), almond extract (optional to opt out of, though most people aren't actually allergic to almond extract.) *All cookies are made in a home kitchen that is not nut-free & handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, and occasionally nut and fish/shellfish, and therefore cannot guarantee against cross-contact.

Do you offer Gluten Free cookies?

We do! Cookies will be made with gluten free ingredients, using thoroughly cleaned and dedicated GF equipment where possible. While we do our best to make very safe gluten free cookies, they are NOT made in a completely gluten free facility. Icing used is naturally gluten free.

Pricing

• Standard decorated cookies – starting at $72 per dozen (1 dozen minimum)
• Mini decorated cookies – starting at $45 per dozen (2 dozen minimum, 1 dozen minimum added to standard order)
• Printed cookies – $72 per dozen (1 dozen minimum; great for logos, photos, or custom graphics)

Availability is limited, and pricing may vary depending on design complexity.

All cookies are individually heat-sealed for freshness (2 weeks at room temperature or 6+ months frozen) and packaged in a bakery box with a cookie care card.

When should I book?

For custom orders, we recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance.

Orders requested within two weeks may be possible depending on availability and may include a Fast Track fee.

Availability is limited and bookings fill up quickly. Holiday preorders, pop-ups, and cookie classes are released on scheduled dates.

How do I place an order?

What information should I include in my inquiry?

Our Cookie Inquiry Form covers all of the important questions.

To provide the most accurate quote, be ready to include:

• Event date & Pick-up date
• Theme or color palette
• Approximate quantity needed
• Inspiration photos, invitation, or décor images (if available)

The more details you can share, the easier it is to design a set that coordinate with your event beautifully!

How many cookies should I order?

For most events, we recommend 1–2 cookies per guest depending on whether cookies are favors, part of a dessert table, or simply an accent for the celebration.

Many customers choose:

• 1 standard cookie per guest for party favors
• 1–2 cookies per guest for dessert tables, or 1 per guest when serving alongside cake or other desserts
• 2-3 Mini cookies per guest as a sand alone dessert, or 1-2 per guest when serving alongside cake or other desserts

Do you offer corporate or logo cookies?

Yes! Edible Ink printed cookies are perfect for:

Logo cookies can feature your business logo, branding colors, or photos and make a memorable (and delicious) impression.

Do you offer large event orders or corporate bulk orders?

We do! Depending upon availability we can accommodate larger orders for corporate events such as:

• Ribbon cuttings
• Chamber events
• Realtor gifts
• and more!

Due to the custom work and time required for each cookie, we are unable to extend discounts regardless of quantity. If you have a specific budget you are working with, feel free to let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to offer you a solution that fits your budget.

Payment Policy

Once your order details are finalized, an invoice will be sent via email. Full payment is required to reserve your order.  Payment confirms your pickup date on the calendar and that you’ve read and agreed to the shop policies.

Local Pickup Location

All orders are available for pickup in River Falls, Wisconsin, serving the surrounding areas including Hudson, Ellsworth, Prescott, and the eastern Twin Cities. We do offer delivery upon availability for a fee.

How do I transport my cookies?

Keep the bakery box flat (the car floorboard usually works best), out of direct sunlight, and away from heat. Avoid leaving them in a hot car.

Do you ship cookies?

At this time, cookies are pickup only, with limited delivery slots available for a fee.

How long do the cookies last?

• Room temperature: At least 2 weeks in their heat-sealed bags
• Freezer: 6+ months when stored in an airtight container
• Always allow cookies to come fully to room temperature before opening the container to prevent condensation from damaging the designs.

How are the cookies packaged?

Each cookie is individually packaged in a heat-sealed cellophane bag to lock in freshness, then placed in a bakery box with a cookie care card—ready for gifting or displaying.

Will my cookies look exactly like my inspiration photo?

Inspiration photos are used as a reference for color, theme, and overall style. We do not copy another baker’s work exactly—each order is designed specifically for your event.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Minor design changes can be made up to 14 days before pickup.

After that, orders are typically already in production and changes may not be possible. Payments are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future date with at least 14 days’ notice.

What is a preorder?

Preorders allow you to purchase themed cookies ahead of busy holidays. You'll choose from a set menu (individual cookies, gift boxes, sleeves, etc.) and pick them up on a designated date—making gifting easy and stress-free.
